To honor his wishes pick up services for children are organized by the school on all adjoining routes of Radaur at reasonable rates. A vide network of/buses covering the radius of 10 k.m around the city. It becomes the sole responsibility of the parents to escort the pupil to & from the fixed stop. Parents are requested to cooperate with the school in running school transport smoothly. They should not insist on having bus stops at their door steps.

General Rules & Guidelines For School Transport

  • HOSO Public School Radaur facilitates to provide transport within the range of 10 km. from the school.
  • No student will be Permitted to board the school bus if he/ she is not in proper school uniform.
  • Students are expected to be on the right side of the bus stop, at least 5 minutes prior to the arrival of the bus.
  • Buses will not wait for late comers. Students are advised not to run behind the bus once the bus has left the stop. Drivers are ordered not to stop in such circumstances.
  • Students are ‘NOT’ allowed to board any bus other than his/her regular bus.
  • Students should stay away from the main road until the bus arrives.
  • No student should try to board the bus until it has made a complete halt.
  • Students must occupy vacant seats once they are inside the bus.
  • The drivers are authorized to stop buses only at the designated stops. The list of bus stops is prepared keeping in view the convenience of all and no diversion/extension will be entertained on existing routes. Any change can only be made by the authorities.
  • When the bus is in motion, students must not move around or lean out of the bus.
  • Students are not allowed to eat or discard trash food inside or outside the bus.
  • Shrieking/shouting unruly behaviour is strictly prohibited in the bus as the driver’s attention can be distracted. Such students can face a week’s suspension.
  • The teachers and bus monitors are responsible for maintaining discipline in the buses. They must occupy random seats for the better monitoring of the students. All are expected to cooperate with them.
  • Any damage caused to the bus will be viewed seriously and suitable penalty shall be imposed on the concerned students.
  • Indisciplined behaviour in the school bus will make the student ineligible to use school transport.
  • In case of any kind of problem/complaint with the transport service or bus staff, kindly, report to the school authorities. No instruction/suggestion should be given to the bus staff directly.
  • Transport facility is not binding on parents, in case they wish, they can bring their own transport arrangements.
  • In case of late arrival (after the stipulated school timing), parents in no way should pressurize guards at the school gate for the entry of their wards.
  • Parents are not permitted to drive on their vehicles inside the school premises without prior permission from the school authority.
  • Carrying of any licensed/ unlicensed armament (lathi, knife, dagger, pistol, gun etc.) inside the school premises is strictly forbidden
  • Parents are sole responsible for sending on Holiday and receiving of their wards at the designated bus stop according to the scheduled timing. Transport authorities are not entrusted with door-to-door transport facility.
  • Transport authorities shall not be liable and accused by the parents, incase of late arrival of parents themselves at the designated bus stop.
  • If due to unexpected conditions like sudden break downs, traffic jams, transport strikes etc. the school bus reaches late or fails to reach at all he designated bus stop, parents are requested to have information from School office and extend their cooperation.
  • School authorities have the right to change the bus stops as per the need during any time of the session.
  • Taxes, fuel or any other reason may lead to increase in bus charges during the session also.
  • Transport will be available according to the capacity of the bus, conditions of the road and working conditions of the area.
  • Delays might be expected during the first week of the academic session.
  • Bus routes will not be changed for few days for the sake of convenience of parents during the session at any cost. Until and unless there is a valid cause and only on the orders of authorities alteration can be made on the prescribed rules of school
